Our History
Signature Landscape was founded in 1989 by Bill Gordon with a vision centered on people first leadership and professional landscape care. Headquartered in Olathe, Kansas, our purpose built facility serves as the operational hub for branch locations throughout the Kansas City metro.
In 2016, Signature joined HeartLand, a people focused organization made up of leading commercial landscape companies across the central United States. This partnership strengthens our access to shared best practices, advanced equipment, and industry resources while allowing us to maintain the local relationships and service standards our clients rely on.
Today, Signature continues to grow alongside the clients and communities we serve, guided by the same commitment to quality that defined our beginning.
Our strength lies in our people. From Account Managers and Production Managers to Crew Leaders and Technical Service Personnel, every member of the Signature team plays a role in delivering consistent, high quality landscape maintenance. With nearly 300 landscape professionals during peak season, our teams work collaboratively to support commercial properties across Kansas City with experience, accountability, and pride.
