Chris grew up in the Blue Springs/Lee’s Summit area of Kansas City. He attended Longview Community College, where he completed his Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. After college, Chris married his wife Diane and they raised three sons.

Throughout his career, Chris worked in construction and remodeling, as well as in the door industry for 30 years. He owned and operated a successful garage door business, where he gained extensive experience with account management and customer service. Chris believes that dependability and integrity are the foundation of his company’s success and always remained committed to his promise of providing customers with the very best in quality service.

After a short-lived retirement in sunny Florida, Chris and his wife moved back to the Kansas City area to be closer to their grandkids. Chris joined a local landscape company and began to learn the irrigation side of the business. It was in that realm that he found a passion to learn more about the green industry.

In 2021, he joined Signature as an Account Manager. Chris got involved in account management because building relationships with customers is what he’s best at. His career has always involved customer service and client relations. Chris’ instinct for knowing when to listen and when to contribute, as well as his enthusiasm, accessibility, and great ideas are welcome and exciting contributions to the Signature team! He enjoys working collaboratively with clients to achieve a common goal and has a unique ability to customize his approach to different scenarios. His combined business background and construction experience along with a passion for the outdoors makes Chris a valuable partner to his clients.   

Chris lives in Parkville with his wife. He enjoys golfing, biking, jogging, and football. Most of all, he loves spending time with his grandchildren.
