Eric was raised on a small farm west of Hillsdale Lake, in Kansas. From an early age was bucking hay and raising bottle calves which taught him the importance of a strong work ethic. His first horticulture job was his freshman year of high school where he worked at a local retail nursery watering plants and helping customers. Eric worked at the nursery all 4 years of high school where he worked his way up to Landscape Supervisor.

Eric spent much of his landscaping career specializing in residential landscape design/build ranging from outdoor kitchens, patios, masonry, and lighting, to irrigation and landscape installations. His time, both in the field and in the classroom, has given him a wealth of plant knowledge and understanding of best horticultural practices. Eric worked as a residential Landscape Designer for a few years before becoming an Account Manager at Signature Landscape. Drawing from his diverse experience has strengthened his ability to become a trusted advisor in his current role in business development.

In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, pursuing his passion of hunting and being in the woods. With only his chainsaw and grit, Eric has built a primitive log cabin off the grid! Eric is married with two children and loves playing sports and being active with his family.
