Jacob grew up on a small farm in Holton, Kansas. His upbringing taught him the values of hard work, responsibility, and dedication. Growing up in the country, Jacob learned to appreciate the outdoors and all that it had to offer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing sports.

Jacob attended Cloud County Community College, earning a degree in business and playing a year of college basketball. He then attended Kansas State University, where he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in social science. Jacob picked up some of his love for the landscape industry in college, where he worked part-time for Topeka Landscape doing major construction installation. Throughout college, he worked for PrairieStone Landscape, where he mowed yards and performed chemical applications. He worked there both full and part-time for 3 years before moving to Kansas City with his wife, Connor.

During his time working in the landscape industry, he gained knowledge on providing quality services while working as a member of a team. While in Kansas City, Jacob took his knowledge to a small landscape company located in Parkville, MO, where he worked as a foreman/ production manager. There he trained new employees in the lawncare industry and maintained a high level of quality customer service.

In 2018, Jacob began working for Signature Landscape. As an Account Manager, Jacob uses his skills with people as a strength. He has adopted a philosophy of always putting the customer first. Jacob’s passion for the industry drives him to never stop learning.
