Josh Titzman grew up in Olathe, KS, and has been immersed in the green industry from a young age. His career path has provided him with a diverse range of experiences, from hands-on work in the field to business ownership and now leadership in commercial landscape production.

Before joining Signature Landscape, Josh owned and operated his own landscape company for nearly a decade, focusing on high-end residential design and installation. His work was known for its exceptional quality, particularly in seasonal container displays and detailed landscape designs. As a business owner, he valued the ability to personally train his team to his standards, ensuring that every project met his high expectations. While he enjoyed the creativity and craftsmanship of residential landscaping, he made the transition to Signature to be part of a larger operation, where he could step away from the field while still making a meaningful impact on quality and efficiency.

Josh has developed a deep understanding of the industry from multiple perspectives. Early in his career, he worked at Family Tree Nursery, where he progressed through various roles, from customer service and plant care to tree installation and sales. He also gained golf course maintenance experience at Lion’s Gate Golf Club, where he worked on turf management and bunker maintenance, witnessing firsthand the meticulous standards required for tournament-level conditions during the Senior Open. Additionally, during an internship at Epic, he gained insight into commercial landscape operations, working with crews on flower installations and large-scale projects.

At Signature, Josh began as an Account Manager, where he enjoyed being on properties, working closely with clients, and supporting field crews. Now, as a Senior Production Manager, his focus is on the operational side of landscaping, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. He values the strong communication he has with crews and takes pride in improving processes that enhance Signature’s overall performance. His range of experience allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to his leadership, making him an asset in both client relations and team development.

Josh is motivated by quality work and enjoys seeing others share his passion for landscaping. He has a particular appreciation for well-designed landscapes and seasonal flower displays. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his three children, and making memories at the Lake of the Ozarks, where he enjoys boating and the outdoors. He also has a love for great food and finding new places to eat.
