Kevin Pfyffer - Construction Manager

Kevin started mowing lawns and shoveling snow where he grew up in Missoula, Montana. Throughout elementary and high school, his parents let him make landscape improvements around the house to help him gain knowledge in the landscape industry. As he got older, he built retaining walls, paver patios, and created landscape beds throughout their yard during the summer breaks from college, where he gained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Washington State University.

Kevin started working at a landscape design/build firm in his two years of college in Spokane, Washington and continued to work there after he graduated in 2001. In 2002, Kevin moved to Kansas and started working for Signature Landscape as a designer/draftsman. In 2003, he was promoted to Construction Manager, and has been overseeing all landscape enhancement operations since.

One of the things that Kevin enjoyed most about designing landscapes when he started was seeing his original idea installed. Kevin says, “It was a really good feeling knowing that I designed that.” He found that he really enjoyed seeing the reactions of the clients when they finally saw the finished product installed. Kevin says, “seeing those smiles is what made me passionate about the design/installation process of the landscape industry.”

Kevin enjoys hiking, jogging, and baseball. He lives in Olathe with his wife Liz, and four kids, Bailey, Lily, Ella, and Hudson.
