Raul Torres - Landscape Superintendent

Raul began his career in 1979 in Encinitas, California, where he worked for a small landscape company called Paloma Blanca. There, he worked on landscape jobs for the local school district. While in California, he also worked for IBP, a meat processing company, before coming to Kansas City. Raul worked in landscaping at various companies around the Kansas City metro, including Epic Landscape and Doctor’s Landscape before coming to Signature Landscape, where he has been since 2007.

Raul serves in the role of Landscape Superintendent at Signature, where he is responsible for the quality of construction installations, managing multiple crews, and helping to keep positive attitudes among crew members. In his leadership role, Raul enjoys that he gets to help others. What satisfies him most about his role is making sure the job is done right and seeing the end result.

Every December, Raul travels to Mexico to visit family and vacation. In his free time, he enjoys watching television, and on Sundays he goes to eat Menudo, a traditional Mexican dish. Raul has a son and daughter, who is studying to become a doctor.
