Timothy Brault - Account Manager
Landscape Industry Since: 1999
Signature Landscape Since: 2022
Timothy grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. From a young age, he helped with mowing the lawn, which is where his landscape interest started to grow. When he began college, like many, he was still undecided on what career path he would take. He began his education in business administration. After completing his associate degree, he found a new passion for the golf and turf industry. From there his passion has morphed into helping people with their landscape needs.
Timothy’s work experience has taken him all across the Midwest. He was an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in Tulsa and he has worked as an Account Manager for multiple, well-known landscape companies. He also worked as a Sales Representative to landscape companies and golf courses. It was at this sales position that he found his calling for using his knowledge and experience to help people.
In 2022, Timothy joined the Signature team as an Account Manager. In this role he gets to live out his passion for enhancing the community and the lives of the people who live there. Timothy loves it when a customer comes to him with a major issue, and he is able solve the problem and improve the relationship for the long term. He enjoys working alongside a great team and believes that teamwork and support are the keys to success.
Timothy has grown his career by always seeking knowledge. He has found that the green industry is always changing and enjoys the endless opportunities for growth. In addition, every position he has been in has presented him with some kind of challenge. From agronomy to people, his introverted nature has been tested and he’s learned how to come out of his shell and take on issues headfirst. The biggest influence in Timothy’s life was his grandfather. He taught Timothy the values of hard work and keeping at it when the going gets tough. Timothy keeps an optimistic outlook on life. Even when things seem to be at their worst, he knows that it’s only temporary and he is the one to change it.
In his free time, Timothy enjoys the outdoors – golfing, fishing, hunting and most of all Kansas City Chiefs football. He has had season tickets for 20+ years. Timothy is engaged to a supportive young woman who shares the same passion for life development as himself. They have three children, and Timothy says, “being a stepfather has shown me an entire new way of approaching life.”
